Peer Mentor Coordinators

What is a Peer Mentor Coordinator?

Peer Mentor Coordinators, known as PMCs, are student leaders who assist in the running of the peer mentor program. All PMCs have served as peer mentors before and currently serve as peer mentors. Each October, FYS looks to hire PMCs to help recruit, train, and supervise that year’s peer mentor cohort. PMCs serve as the “peer mentor” for the FYS 401 sections and co-lead the FYS 402 sections in the fall. Peer Mentors are advised by the Graduate Teaching Assistant in FYS.
