Transfer 101 seminar is a new course in which transfer students have the opportunity to make meaningful progress toward shaping their future career path and make connections with the UT community. This seminar is listed as a 1-credit course and carries a grading scale of A, B, C, or NC (No Credit).
Students will engage in developing a personal academic/career path portfolio that will allow them to explore several different opportunities they will have at UT. Through this activity, students will interact with faculty and staff relevant to their particular interests. They will explore the career center services, opportunities in their academic college, research and service learning opportunities with faculty across campus. Course content will focus on three main areas; academic engagement, career planning, and campus engagement.
