This course will provide insight into the organization of the fashion retail industry, specifically with apparel, accessories and home fashion retail companies. Students will learn about the different types of fashion retailers, and the role of manufacturers, product developers, fashion forecasters, and buyers within the organization of the industry. During this course, students will have the opportunity to learn from professionals working in the fashion and retail industry and gain a hands-on experiential perspective of what it is like to work in the industry.
