Peer Mentor Coordinators

What is a Peer Mentor Coordinator?

Peer Mentor Coordinators, known as PMCs, are student leaders who assist in the running of the peer mentor program. All PMCs have served as peer mentors before and currently serve as peer mentors. Each October, FYS hires PMCs to help recruit, train, and supervise the peer mentor cohort. PMCs serve as teaching assistants for FYS 401 & FYS 402. Peer Mentors are supervised by Meagan West, Assistant Director of FYS 101 & Peer Mentors and the Graduate Teaching Assistant in FYS.
