Frank joined the First year Studies team in June 2016 as a transition coach. He served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and comes from a Rehabilitation Counseling background and worked as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor prior to working in higher education. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Carolina University. Most recently he served as an academic advisor at Georgia Southern University from 2013 – 2016. When he is not working with students Frank spends his time reading, making art, distance running and pursing other interests.
