Transfer 101 gives transfer students the opportunity to make meaningful progress toward shaping their future career path and make connections with the UT community. This seminar is listed as a 1-credit course and carries a grading scale of A, B, C, or NC (No Credit).
Students will engage in developing a personal academic/career path portfolio allowing them to explore different opportunities they have at UT. While developing their individual portfolios, students will interact with faculty and staff relevant to their particular interests. They will explore the career center services, opportunities in their academic college, and research and service learning opportunities with faculty across campus. Course content focuses on three main areas;
- academic engagement,
- career planning,
- and campus engagement.
